Simple Animation Imageready Tutorial
This is a very basic tutorial made to introduce you to the animation function in Imageready. Using tweens you can create animate gif with little difficulty.
Start out by making a new layer, and filling in a selection of your choice. We just need something to animate, I simply made a red circle.

Now lets bring up our animation window, go to Window > Animation

This window displays each frame of your animation, as well as giving you quite a few options to help you go about animating your gif. In this tutorial, I will show you how to use the tween function to make the red circle move from one end of the canvas to the other.

Click on the arrow to the right of the window, and choose "New Frame"

Next drag your circle to the bottom right corner of your canvas.

Click on the arrow again, and this time choose "Tween."

Tweening looks at where the image is in your first frame, and where your image is in your second frame, and fills in the gaps. Choose tween with "previous frame." The "frames to add" dictates how many frames you want in between your initial and final frames. The more frames you have the smoother your animation, and larger your file size.

Click "ok" and you will see your animation window has been filled up with however many frames you chose to add, and you will see that in each frame your red circle moves closer and closer to its final destination. You can adjust how long each frame is active by changing the "0 sec" to a different value, however for this animation its best to keep it at zero.

Here is the final product! Now that you have this down, lets move on to some more complicated stuff.
