1. We will learn the
use of gradient fill in this tutorial.
2. First, select the
Pencil tool from the Tool box or press "N" from keyboard.
3. Draw the shape of
the fish body with it and adjust the curves with the curve handles.
4. Now to color it with Gradient
fill, we have the select the gradient option from the tool box (as shown
in figure)
5. In the Gradient palette,
we have to adjust the shade of color by sliding the white diamond above
the bar mark. The squares under the bar are color stop. To add additional
color stop just click over the color bar and to delete a color stop click
on the square and drag it outside the palette.
6. Now draw the
wings and tail with Pencil tool and color it with Gradient
fill.
7. Using Pencil tool
again, draw some lines along the wings and tail. Here no stroke will be
used.
8. Now with the Paintbrush tool
(B), draw some curved lines onto the previously drawn lines. This time no
fill only stroke.
9. Draw a curve with pencil tool
with no stroke and gradient fill.
10. To make its eye
draw a white circle and a comparatively small black circle within it. Also
make some spots of different colors on its body and draw smiley lips with
Pencil. Place the previously drawn curve beside eye.
11. Now You are
proud owner of a beautiful sea fish !!!
