Adding a Background 3d Studio Max Tutorial

In this tutorial I will show you how to add your own custom background to your pictures, and add a viewport background so that you can see were your 3d image are positioned in relation to your custom background.

First open a new file, and on the menu bar, go to rendering and choose environments.

Now, click on the button that says "none"

and choose bitmap

Now search for the file you want as your background and choose open. Now exit out of the environments menu and go to View on the drop-down menu and choose viewport background. Now click on "file" and choose the same file that you used for your background. Then press OK. Now you should have your background. image in the background. of your perspective view.

Now just position your images were you want them and render!
