This tutorial will show tou how to make some nice 3d text without the help of any 3d program.

 

First off take out your text tool and make two sets of letter. Make sure that the top set is smaller than the bottom to make it look like it has depth

take the text tool and rasterize each word by right clicking with your text tool and choosing "rasterize type"

Now go to edit> transform> perspective

use the tool to lessen the width of the top section of each word so that they look like the ones below.

Now go to Filter> stylize> emboss

Now input the settings used below

Your text should now look like the words bellow. Just slightly beveled

Now for the easy part, just hold the Ctrl button and press the up arrow key. You will see that your layer is duplicated time after tip just slightly above the last, making your text look 3d!

NOw your done, just add a small drop shadow, not to high or it will look like it is suspended in the air.

There you go, the easiest way to make 3d text without a 3d program!
